Borovoy receives the expeditionary detachment of PetrSU

On June 7, the expeditionary team of the Kalevala-2021 University worked in the village of Borovoy.
The implementation of expedition plans of the Humanitarian Innovation Park of PetrSU is actively continuing. In Borovoe, the participants of the complex scientific expedition were met by employees of the local House of Culture and the school.

Associate professor of IIPSN Kulagin Oleg Igorevich held a master class on preparation for the Unified State Exam in history for graduates. Associate Professor of IFKSiT Shevchenko Vladimir Ivanovich gave lectures on the topic “Trends of modern tourism” for schoolchildren and the adult population of the village. Professor of IIPSN Suvorova Irina Mikhailovna organized a master class on the topic “Design and research activities of high school students” for teachers and their students. The research work included interviews, polls and questionnaires on the topics: “Value preferences of the individual”, “The level of self-education of residents”, “The demand for the Karelian language on the territory of the national region.”

1st year students in the field of “Social work” Anastasia Kolmyk, Polina Veselova and Anastasia Ermolaeva learned to work with respondents in the format of questionnaires, surveys and interviews. Thus, students of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences acquire the necessary competencies during a comprehensive scientific expedition.
