BU Strategic Management and Marketing Professor, Dimitrios Buhalis won the Great Sea Award 2023 – Research in Innovative Sustainable Tourism Solutions at the Mediterranean Tourism Awards. Dimitrios received this award in recognition of his significant contribution to innovative tourism initiatives.

This prestigious award, organised by the Mediterranean Tourism Foundation (MTF) in Malta, was awarded by His Excellency, the President of Malta, George Vella, during a ceremony at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on Thursday 23 November.
