British Council Organises Activities to Cultivate Climate and Environmental Awareness Among Children

Celebrate World Environment Day with Inspiring Video and Drawing Competitions

New Delhi : British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, is organising a series of engaging activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness and creativity among children. Inculcating climate and environmental awareness among children is crucial for fostering a sense of responsibility towards the planet. Therefore, educating children about the environment from a young age helps them understand the importance of preserving nature and encourages them to make environmentally conscious decisions throughout their lives.

In celebration of World Environment Day, British Council is committed to fostering a deep understanding and proactive attitude towards environmental sustainability among children. The initiatives include a sustainable environment video competition and a drawing competition.
