Due to the pandemic, the board will not hold any press conference this year.
This year, half of the exam was held in MCQ-based OMR sheets. Further, the board had also offered 100% choice or alternative for every question asked as relaxation to students because of the pandemic. Despite relaxations, the pass percentage can be affected due to pandemic-led school shut down. The pass percentage of the Bihar Board 10th result 2021 is 78.17%. It was expected that the pass percentage would be above 80% just like last year’s results. A total of 13.20 lakh students had passed the exam last year and the pass percentage came to be 80.59 percent.
This year’s result shows a slight drop in pass percentage even after the paper pattern was changed to include more objective questions so that students could be checked on their conceptual clarity more. It also paved the way for quicker result declaration and a higher pass percentage.
