With 260 million school-going students in India sitting at home due to the pandemic, it is of utmost importance that their health is protected while also ensuring that their learning remains uninterrupted. In its efforts to support the education system, in early March, BYJU’S announced free access to its learning app, to support and help students and parents cope with the sudden temporary closure of schools. Since the announcement, the company has witnessed over 25 million new students learning on it and has seen students from both metros and non-metros extensively accessing lessons on the app.
