Call for nominations of the 2021 edition of the UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education

The call for nominations of the 2021 edition of the UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education is now open.

Funded by the Government of the People’s Republic of China, the Prize consists of two annual awards of USD 50 000 to help further the laureates’ work.
The nomination process takes place via an online platform

  • UNESCO Permanent Delegations and National Commissions will be able to connect with their existing generic user accounts (see user guide here).
  • NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO will need to request to use the platform here. (see user guide here)
  • The online nominations should be submitted by Permanent Delegations or NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO via the online form in English or French by 26 May 2021 at the very latest (midnight, Paris time).
