Cambridge English North India Hosts Discussion on Improving Communication Skills in Higher Education for Enhancing Employability

The Cambridge English North India team successfully organized a Focused Group Discussions in Delhi.  The theme of these think tank discussions was ‘Overcoming language barriers, enhancing learners’ inclusivity, and optimizing instructional efficacy in Higher Educational Institutions.’

 

Esteemed leaders and decision-makers from higher educational institutions, members of skill development councils, and representatives from national-level teacher training bodies in the North region actively participated in the events. The discussions were moderated by Mr. James Dingle.

During the deliberations, leaders from various institutions and government bodies engaged in insightful conversations about the crucial role of communication skills in the higher educational landscape. The focus extended to its impact on elevating students’ employability skills and broadening their international mobility prospects.

The participants also delved into discussions regarding government policies related to enhancing students’ employability skills. Furthermore, there was an exploration of effective implementation strategies for communication skill enhancement initiatives within higher educational institutions. The overarching goal was to achieve better academic outcomes and bolster the employability skills of students through these initiatives.

The Focused Group Discussions proved to be a platform for rich insights and collaborative dialogue, fostering a shared vision for the advancement of education in the North region.
