Campaign on Land Records Information System Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani launched in Samba
SAMBA : District Administration Samba today launched a month long awareness campaign on Land Records Information System Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani across the district covering each niabat/village.
Deputy Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta during block divas progamme formally launched the IEC campaign on digital literacy for accessing revenue Records at Ghagwal.
During the progamme a detailed presentation on the initiatives of Land Record Information system were disseminated among the local public. The team of NIC, information dept and revenue officials elucidated the Land records web portal working and its various features. It was informed that Land Records Information System” (LRIS) is web based multi-tiered, scalable, reliable, and secure network enterprise application. The LRIS is Integrated, Geographical Information System (GIS) based decision support system to cater 24/7 services to JakLRMa agency user, state public user, special agency external user for analysis, evaluation and information of revenue records and its ancillary details like Records of Rights, Jamabandi, Girdawari, Mutation and many more.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the IEC campaign on the LRIS application is carried out at each niyabat/village centre wherein trained revenue officials are providing necessary information in addition to these weekly IEC campaigns.
Similar awareness camps on the LRIS web application were also organized at Bari-Brahmana, Vijaypur and Sumb area.
