Career counseling session held at AMU Girls’ School

 

ALIGARH  : The District Magistrate of Aligarh, Mr. Indra Vikram Singh (IAS) urged the students of the Aligarh Muslim University Girls’ School to nurture a vision for a fulfilling career in life and work hard with diligence to accomplish their dream.

Highlighting the importance of Humanities in improving one’s personality, he emphasized that it is important to adhere to great moral values and be a good human being.

Mr. Singh was addressing the students of senior secondary classes as a chief guest at a career counseling session on “Careers in Law and Humanities”, jointly organized by the university’s Training and Placement Office (General) and the AMU Girls’ School.

In order to achieve success in life, he advised the students to make good plans for systematic studies and work hard with positive thinking, confidence and strong will to achieve their goals.

He also responded to the queries of students during an interactive session after his address.

The guest of honour, Prof. S. Ali Nawaz Zaidi and the special guest, Dr. Gaurav Varshney spoke on a wide prospect of career in legal field and urged the young students to make a choice of career in life smartly, considering their interest and capabilities.

Earlier, welcoming the guests with mementos, Mr. Saad Hameed (TPO) said that the objective of the programme is to make the students aware of realizing their potential and making a good choice of career in life.

Mrs. Amna Malik, Principal of the school gave a brief note on the history of the school and stressed the importance and need for such counseling sessions to help students shape a successful career.
