Career Counseling Session held

 

ALIGARH  : The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University organized a “Career Counseling Session” at the STS School, focusing on the field of law and humanities.

The chief guest and keynote speaker, Shri Shalabh Mathur (IPS), DIG, Aligarh Range shared his experiences while preparing for the civil services examination, and how his interest in the humanities subjects drew him towards the UPSC exam. He also responded to the queries of the students. He urged the students to make a daily habit of newspaper reading and answer- writing practice.

The guest of honour, AMU Proctor, Prof. Mohd. Wasim Ali discussed the relevance of law as a field of studies and urged the students to first determine their goal of life and then give their full to prepare for that with dedication, honesty, consistency, and focused study.

The special guest, Dr. Gaurav Varshney emphasized the significance of Law in corporate and litigation fields. He exhorted students to focus on upgrading their skills and prepare for various law entrance exams including CLAT, AMU Law and PCS (J).

Mr. Saad Hameed, TPO, cleared the doubts of students regarding various streams and job opportunities after becoming a law graduate.

Mr. Faisal Nafis, Principal, encouraged students to work hard to achieve their goals in life.

Syed Ahmad Nawaz Zaidi and Aditya Bhattacharya conducted the programme, while Arman Ali Khan proposed a vote of thanks..
