Career Days for Future IT Specialists Scheduled at Ural Federal University

The Ural Federal University started registration for the IT Peak. Traditionally, representatives of the leading IT companies in the region and the country will talk about career opportunities and immerse students in the world of information technologies. This year’s event will be held for two days at the university’s site: on March 15, students will be told where to go after university, and on March 16, schoolchildren will be able to learn how to build a career in IT.

Lectures and master classes by more than 20 invited experts from the IT world await beginners and advanced IT professionals at IT Peak. Also, UrFU representatives will discuss educational opportunities and present Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs.

“IT Peak is an opportunity for students and schoolchildren to unlock their potential and gain new knowledge, as well as to be inspired by the aspiration for technological progress and innovation from our speakers,” UrFU representatives said.

Partner employers including Kontur, 1C, Sinara Bank, SKB Lab, Tinkoff, Sber, Ural Center for Security Systems, Greenatom, Naumen, Artsofte, and others will present their career openings and internships.

In addition, the “Peak IT” Olympiad will be held again. Schoolchildren of 9-11th grades can take part in it. The winners and runners-up will receive +3 points in addition to their United States Exam results in computer science for admission to UrFU. The Olympiad will be held on March 16; to participate, it is necessary to register on the website until March 2 and the qualifying stage on March 3.
