Case Analysis Workshop held at AMU Malappuram Centre

ALIGARH : Prof Salma Ahmed, Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, Aligarh Muslim University conducted a two-day workshop on “Decipher: The Art of Case Analysis” organized by the Department of Business Administration, AMU Malappuram Center, Kerela.

Prof Ahmed focused on the origin of the case as a teaching pedagogy and emphasized the importance of developing case study analysis skills to deal with the ‘symptoms’ of the problem and finding the solutions. She illustrated examples of important Indian cases like Amul, Flipkart, Dabbawalas of Mumbai, Kingfisher Airlines, Satyam Computer Services, which are stories of success while some represent stories of failure.

She also guided the students on how to present analysis and how to defend their analysis when challenged.
