CASE Construction Equipment’s Skill Development Initiative Recognized with Silver Win at CSR Times Awards 2023
CASE Construction Equipment, a brand dedicated to construction equipment, has been recognized by the 10th National CSR Times Award 2023 for its initiatives in India. The company has bagged the Silver Award under the ‘Livelihood’ category for their skill development initiatives, namely Hunar and LEAD, which provides skills training and encourages entrepreneurship amongst the country’s youth.
The award was presented during a ceremony held in New Delhi as part of the annual CSR Times Awards, which aims to encourage Corporate, Corporate Foundations, NGOs, Government, Public Sectors, and Individuals to drive positive impact in the community through CSR projects.

The Silver Award-winning Hunar and LEAD initiatives, by CASE Construction, boosts skill development and entrepreneurship in infrastructure and agriculture sectors. Hunar, aligned with NSDC and Infrastructure Equipment Sector Skill Council, trains youths to become Backhoe Loader Operators, already training 145 and aiding 100 in securing industry roles within the year. As of now, the Hunar project has trained 242 trainees & facilitated job placement for 137 trainees.
Furthermore, CASE introduced the LEAD initiative earlier this year, which aims to foster entrepreneurship among 30,000 rural young people from across India. The project focuses on subsidiary income generation avenues in the agriculture and infrastructure sectors through awareness and training programs. The LEAD project has gone around 1352 villages and contacted 19,623 unemployed rural youth/population. 10,000 of these have sought additional information and further guidance to start their own micro enterprise.
