Celebrating Connections: NIFTEM-K Alumni Meet Spotlights Career Success and the Future of Food Technology
New Delhi: A day before Foundation Day, NIFTEM-K hosted a vibrant Alumni Meet, drawing over 100 Alumni besides participants who gathered to share their journey and reconnect with their Alma Mater. Alumni emphasized the transformative role NIFTEM-K played in shaping their careers in the food sector. At the outset, Dr. Harinder Singh Oberoi, Director NIFTEM-K, warmly welcomed the alumni and emphasized the importance of their connection with their Alma Mater. He highlighted that NIFTEM-K will always be there for creating a supportive environment for collaboration and everyone’s holistic growth.
The event facilitated meaningful interactions between alumni and current students, fostering discussions on industry trends and exploring potential collaboration and mentorship opportunities. Alumni then engaged everyone with fun games and activities, fostering camaraderie and nostalgia. The atmosphere truly came alive when famous singer Bhupinder Singh Bhupi took the stage, known for his hit “Jogia Khali-Bali.” He opened with “Pyaare Bandhuon,” but it was his rendition of “Jogia Khali-Bali” that really ignited the crowd.
His power packed numbers “Kudi Punjaban,” “Vallah Vallah,” “Rafta-Rafta,” and “Ho Gayi Teri Balle-Balle” had students, alumni, and faculty dancing with joy to his tunes. The evening culminated with a grand feast, perfectly rounding off a memorable celebration of connection and shared experiences.
