CENTA’s Global Mobile Platform Crosses the 1 Million Teacher Mark
Bengaluru : Centre for Teacher Accreditation Private Limited launches its enhanced native application CENTA, to simplify access to learning resources for educators across the globe. The app will enable users to track their professional development progress in a granular manner. In addition to tracking progress through block-chain enabled digital credentials and making suggestions through its recommendation engine, CENTA serves as a multifaceted platform designed to certify teacher competencies and streamline the otherwise intricate process of seeking and applying for jobs within the education sector. The web format of the platform has crossed the 1 million teacher mark in less than 4 years, making it the world’s largest platform for teachers. The platform has witnessed over 3.5 mn learning engagements in the past 12 months. Now available on Google Playstore and Apple App Store, the app is expected to make access to skill upgradation and accreditation significantly easier. This will help reach a much larger number of teachers, especially in tier-2 and tier-3 towns, where the proliferation of smartphones is higher than computers.

The Global Teachers’ Meet also saw teachers being rewarded and recognized based on their performance in the CENTA International Teaching Professionals Olympiad(TPO), as well as teachers who have invested in their own professional development.
