Central India’s First NEP and NSQF Aligned, SCOPE Global Skills (SGS) University appoints Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi as Chancellor
Central India’s First NEP and NSQF Aligned Skills University, SCOPE Global Skills (SGS) University has announced the appointment of Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi as the Chancellor. Dr. Chaturvedi comes with rich work experience spanning over 17 years and is currently the Secretary of the AISECT Society. He also holds the position of Executive Vice President at AISECT Group, where he is responsible for strategy and Operations for the Group’s various activities.
SGS University is the latest addition to the AISECT Group of Universities and is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC). SGS University offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across a wide range of faculties, including Engineering & Technology Skills, Emerging Technologies, Information Technology and Future Skills, Management Studies, Banking, Finance & Commerce. Their apprenticeship-embedded degree programs are designed to provide students with practical skills and experience, so they are well-equipped to succeed in their chosen fields.
Speaking of his new role, Dr. Siddharth added “I am honoured to be appointed as the Chancellor at the Scope Global Skills University. With a mission to contribute to the growth of our country, SGS University aims to enhance the skilling, employability, and entrepreneurship of the youth by providing skills-focused Education, work-integrated, and industry-aligned academic programs, along with incubation support”.
Dr. Siddharth is an established Educationist and an Entrepreneur, who is known for implementing innovative and strategic initiatives at scale, in the interest of youth, entrepreneurs and the rural community at large. He is a subject matter expert on Higher Education, Skill Development, Livelihoods, Employability, TVET systems, National Skills Qualification Framework, their implementation as well as policy advocacy with various stakeholders.
