Central University of Kerala Conducts Induction Programme for newcomers

The Central University of Kerala (CUK) conducts an induction programme for students admitted in the new academic year on 29 & 30 August 2024. The event was designed to introduce newcomers to the university’s academic environment, resources, and opportunities. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor (i/c), Prof. Vincent Mathew, inaugurated the programme. In his inaugural address, Prof. Vincent Mathew emphasised the importance of integrating research into regular studies. He encouraged students to fully utilise the university’s facilities, especially its library, to enhance their academic journey. Registrar Dr. M. Muralidharan Nambiar presided over the event, and the Controller of Examinations, Dr. R. Jayaprakash, delivered a key address. The programme began with a warm welcome from University Executive Council Member, Prof. Joseph Koipally. The Dean of Students’ Welfare, Prof. Rajendra Pilankatta, concluded the event with a vote of thanks. Dr. Tony Grace, Dr. Arathi R. Nair, Dr. S. Anbazhagi, Dr. T.J. Joseph, Dr. E. Prasad, Dr. V. Aditya, Prof. Mathew George, Dr. Gnanavel Soundararajan, Dr. K. Thiyagu, Prof. A. Manickavelu, Prof. Jayashankar K.I., Prof. R. Rajesh, Prof. Sudha Kappalli, Dr. Shyam Prasad, Dr. Ali Akbar, Dr. Mary Vineetha Thomas, Dr. Subramanya Pailoor, Prof. T.G. Saji, Prof. M.N. Musthafa, Dr. Vellikkeel Raghavan, and Ms. Divyalekshmi K led the classes.
