Central University of Odisha participates in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET)

Koraput: Central University of Odisha, Koraput (CUO) is going to join the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) Consortium in 2020 for admission to various Under Graduate, Post-Graduate and Research programmes this year.

CUCET is a national level examination which is regulated by eleven Central Universities jointly. It is a combined entrance test organized for providing admission into various Under Graduate, Post-Graduate, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes offered by the Central Universities across India. Applying once, a student can get opportunities to choose to appear in entrance examination for any course offered by any Central University.

To provide students a wider platform for vast exposure, CUO has joined in this consortium. Through this platform, CUO will maintain its national character by inviting applications from across the nation. The entrance examination is conducted once in a year across various cities in India.

CUCET Registration will commence from March 2020 on the official website. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for CUCET exam can apply for the exam. The exam is conducted offline (pen and paper mode) for duration of two hours. Central University of Rajasthan is the conducting body of this examination.

This year Central University of Odisha is going to invite applications for 30 programmes. These include 2year PG Programmes – M.A. in Odia, M.A. in English, M.A. in Hindi, M.A. in Sanskrit , M.Sc. in Anthropology , M.A. in Sociology , M.A. in Economics , M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication, M.Sc. in Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and M.Sc. in Statistics ; 2 year UG Programme- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.); 5-year Integrated M.Sc. in Mathematics; 3 year UG Programme- Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA); M.Phil in – Anthropology, Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, Economics, Education, Journalism & Mass Communication, Odia, Sociology and Statistics; Ph.D. in – Anthropology, Biodiversity and Conservation of Natural Resources, Economics, Education, Journalism & Mass Communication, Odia, Sociology and Statistics
