Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, the Vice-Chancellor, mentioned in his presidential address that India has a rich legacy of mathematical studies and that young scholars, while taking inspiration from iconic Indian mathematicians, need to accept the challenge to add more innovations in this discipline to further enrich this legacy. He urged teachers to teach mathematics in an interesting way to develop students’ interest in the subject.

During this programme, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Tiwari along with Dean Incharge Academics, Prof. R.
