Central University of Punjab organized COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for their faculty & staff

Bathinda: As per the directives of Centre / State Government, the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) in association with Civil Hospital, Ghudda and Govt. Hospital, Jangi Rana organized COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for their faculty and staff members. As part of this campaign, the medical teams of Civil Hospital, Ghudda and Government Hospital, Jangirana conducted COVID-19 Vaccination Camps at CUPB Campus on 9th April and 19th – 20th April respectively. On this occasion, Medical Team of the Civil Hospital, Ghudda and Govt. Hospital, Jangi Rana visited CUPB Campus and administered COVID-19 Vaccination to eligible faculty and staff members. In this Vaccination drive, around 200 eligible teaching and non-teaching employees along with their family members took the first jab of coronavirus vaccine.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari lauded the initiative of employees who got themselves vaccinated. He added, that CUPB is committed to ensure proper implementation of all COVID-19 preventive measures and guidelines issued by Centre and State Government. He asserted that vaccination is the best way to control the spike of COVID-19 cases and appealed citizens to get themselves vaccinated as per their turn.
