CentraleSupélec Launches Doctor.E In Start-Up Module
Working in a startup after obtaining your doctorate is an increasingly sought-after path for doctoral students. Rather than the academic route, the company or the consultancy, have you thought of working in a start-up or even of inspiring or creating a start-up from your thesis work?
Beyond your thesis results, have you asked yourself the question of enhancing your work by finding a concrete and useful outlet on a market? Do you also know that the deeptech start-up is a place where your skills as a researcher are highly valued and your choices and actions have an immediate impact on the company?
This 2-day module aims to introduce you to the characteristics of a start-up and to ask you whether a career in a start-up might be for you.
You don’t need to have an entrepreneurial spirit, you just need to be curious and have the desire to apprehend and understand the challenges of a start-up, which can also be interesting even when one is destined for a career as an academic researcher.
