Centre of Ministry of Education, GOI and ICSL launches CONNECT2LEARN -A series of online certificate workshops for continuous professional development of school educators

New Delhi : ICSL (International Council for School Leadership), India’s leading provider of professional development programs for school leaders and educators in collaboration with Guru Angad Dev Teaching Learning Centre of Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced Connect2Learn, a nation-wide, online CPD certificate program for school educators. The program will be conducted on weekends from 7th-29th August 2021 with a learning session on every Saturday from 4 pm to 6:30 pm and a Q&A session on every Sunday from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Topics of Connect2Learn will cover reforms proposed in the National Education Policy 2020; changes to examination formats for 2021-22 as proposed by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE); and skills required to conduct online classes.  Overwhelming response has been received from across India within 48 hours of its launch.

The highly affordable and accessible online weekend workshop series will offer school educators a rare opportunity to learn from nationally eminent experts in the comfort of their homes. The program also gives them the flexibility to learn the topics that they find interesting, relevant and beneficial. Recognizing the importance of addressing participants’ doubts and queries, ICSL resource persons will provide answers through emails and during an optional Sunday session.

On submission of the hands-on task, a certificate shall be provided by GAD-TLC, Ministry of Education, GoI for their professional accomplishment. Each certificate will have a unique ID number with participants details uploaded on the NMTT portal of Govt. of India. This workshop will provide an opportunity to school teachers towards their Continuous Professional Development of 50 hours as envisaged by NEP 2020.
