CEO Baramulla chairs meeting of HoIs, reviews functioning of Education dept

Baramulla: The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Baramulla, G M Lone today chaired a meeting with heads of various educational institutions and other concerned functionaries of the education department to take stock of the overall educational scenario especially in view of the new education session.

On the occasion, the CEO took a detailed appraisal of various aspects associated with the smooth functioning in educational institutions wherein he emphasized for mobilising all the available resources productively. He directed to make necessary arrangements in view of the new education session and follow all related SOPs and guidelines pertaining to prevention of COVID-19.

Moreover, the CEO added that every effort will be made to impart qualitative education among the students. He affirmed that compensatory classes shall be provided mainly to compensate the academic loss that occurred due to subsequent lockdowns.

The Deputy Chief Education Officer briefed the meeting about various arrangements that have been made by the department for starting the new session smoothly.
