CETS Announces Partnership with Circularity Global to Pave the Way for Sustainable Circular Economy Solutions

Mumbai : Catalyst Environment Technology Solutions Private Limited (CETS) is thrilled to announce its association with Circularity Global, a London-headquartered Climate-Tech Startup dedicated to innovating circular economy solutions for waste management.

Circularity Global is at the forefront of Circular Economy innovation, employing advanced technologies and visionary strategies to revolutionise waste management practices globally. Through its Circularity Innovation Hubs, the company transforms waste into valuable by-products or energy sources, promoting a circular economy ethos.

Central to Circularity Global’s operations is the Circularity Registry, a groundbreaking Blockchain platform ensuring transparency, traceability, and accountability in Circular Economy projects. By issuing Circularity Credits, the platform incentivizes and rewards sustainable practices.

The partnership between CETS and Circularity Global is founded on a shared vision of mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development. Leveraging CETS’s HiGee CO2 capture technology, every Circularity Innovation Hub will operate with minimal environmental impact throughout the waste management process – from collection and segregation to recycling and repurposing.

Each circularity hub will encompass waste management solutions for a diverse range of waste streams, including agricultural waste. To efficiently handle these waste materials, Waste-to-Energy plants will be integrated into the hubs. Utilizing CET’s HiGee CO2 Capture technology, will ensure that any CO2 emissions generated in this process are captured at the point of emission and converted into usable-grade products, contributing to environmental sustainability.

Circularity, committed to fostering positive change for both the planet and grassroots communities, has partnered with IndusInd Bank to further amplify its impact. A percentage of the income generated from Circularity Credits, derived from agricultural waste, will be directed back to the farmers tending to the fields from which the waste is collected and repurposed. Similarly, waste pickers involved in recycling and reusing plastic waste will receive additional income through this initiative.

Joel Michael, Founder and CEO Circularity Global, climate institute said true Circular Economy is created when waste isn’t just recycled, but is repurposed for reuse and this process is carried out within a continuous loop instead of a single cycle. The value added to this by a Circularity Credit needs to ensure there is genuine additionality in the entire process. We are delighted to partner with CETS who bring the expertise to ensure every Circularity Innovation Hub operates at minimal GHG emissions, thus fostering optimal green innovation.”

“We are honoured to partner with Circularity Global to elevate the transition towards a sustainable future. Together, we aim to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and create an impact in waste management and environmental conservation,” said Nitin Sarna, Co-Founder from CETS.
