Chairperson inaugurates DDC office at Kamsar road Poonch

Poonch: District Development Council Chairperson Poonch, Tazeem Akther today inaugurated the District Development Council Office here at Kamsar road located in the heart of Poonch town in presence of Deputy Commissioner Poonch Inder Jeet, Vice Chairman Er. Mohammad Ishfaq Chowdhury, District development council members, BDC chairpersons and Sarpanches and Panches.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the DDC Chairperson thanked union government and LG administration for fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
On the occasion, she also thanked all the participants who arrived from different far-off places & graced the occasion with their presence.
The Chairperson of District Development Council sought cooperation from District administration as well as from the officers heading different departments at different levels in the district to take the socio-economic profile of the District to new heights.
She said that with active participation of district administration & Panchayati Raj institutions the developmental schemes would be implemented in better way to take the development profile of district in better position in terms of progress in the days to come.
The Deputy Commissioner Poonch, also spoke on the occasion and congratulated the DDC Chairperson & Vice Chairperson. He hoped that developmental process on grassroots level will be accelerated with the establishment & commencement of three-tier structure of Panchayati Raj institutions.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Vinod Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Basharat Hussain, Assistant Commissioner Development, Rajesh Lakhan and other officers were also present grace the occasion with their presence.
