Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) organized the inaugural session of the Career Guidance Centre (CGC) Batch May 2024 on 27th May 2024.

The invited guests were Mr. Anil Kumar Thakur, I.A.S, Additional Secretary, Department of BC and EBC, Government of Bihar; Mr. Manish Barriarr, Chief Mentor, IMS Learning Resources Private Limited; Mrs. Preeti Kumari, O.S.D. and BCEBC Welfare Department and Mr. Arun Kumar, District Welfare Officer.

The event started by lamp lighting which was followed by a program briefing by Prof. (Dr.) Santosh Kumar, Assistant professor, CIMP. He further briefed the students about the programme, workshop, preparatory sessions and regular classes in CGC Batch May 2024.

This was followed by speech by Mr. Anil Kumar Thakur, I.A.S, Additional Secretary, Department of BC and EBC, Government of Bihar wherein he informed us about the innovative initiative taken by the Government of Bihar to help the BC/EBC category by providing them the free mentorship for the CAT/XAT/MAT preparation.

Further, Mr. Manish Barriarr, Chief Mentor, IMS Learning Resources Private Limited addressed the students and gave a brief outlook of the programme, how he will mentor the students from the basic to the advance level so that students can have a clear concept and strong foundation.

Mrs. Preeti Kumari, O.S.D. and BCEBC Welfare Department motivated the students with her speech. She said that we will always have problems in life, in spite of that, we have to move forward and work with enthusiasm to achieve our goal.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Kumod Kumar, Chief Administrative Officer, who also motivated the students with all logistics support from CIMP. Further Mr. Kumod Kumar also discussed the various opportunities like PGDM (IEV) for students especially interested in entrepreneurship. Followed by national anthem.
