Chandraprakash Dwivedi joins Rishihood University as a Founder
New Delhi: Rishihood University today is proud to announce that Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, eminent writer, director, and protagonist of the Chanakya TV series, has joined as a founder. Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi will aid in guiding the larger vision of education and creating future leaders at Rishihood University. He will also guide the curriculum design and delivery of academic initiatives, contributing to some of the unique courses at the university, such as the undergraduate major in public leadership, which is a first in the world.
Rishihood University is setting out to establish a model of education rooted in self-discovery and achieving one’s untapped potential, taking inspiration from what transpired at Takshashila more than 2000 years ago between Chanakya and his students. In recent times, the memories of Takshashila were recreated in the Chanakya TV series by Dr. Dwivedi, who is a rare cultural leader who has worked at the intersection of history, film and television, and nation-building.
On the occasion, Dr. Sampadananda Mishra, Professor at Rashtram School of Public Leadership, Rishihood University said, “Chandraprakash Ji’s life is dedicated to nation-building. His contribution in reshaping the true history of Bharat is truly commendable. As a source of inspiration, his guidance as a founder will surely be enriching.”
His mentorship will allow Rishihood University to expand its participation in the discourse on social issues, education, leadership, and developing human potential. Inspired by the protagonist of the Chanakya TV series, Rishihood University aims to groom future Chanakyas and Chandraguptas of the modern age.

Rishihood University has been established through collective philanthropy and supported by eminent public leaders. The university started its on-campus programs in 2021 at its main campus in Sonipat, Delhi NCR.
