Chennai all set to kick start India’s biggest travel show network TTF in 2020
Chennai: TTF, the biggest travel show network in India since the last 30 years is all set to inaugurate the 2020 calendar with TTF Chennai from 24 to 26 January at the Chennai Trade Centre. The TTF series is trusted in facilitating the travel trade to meet and market their travel products to the relevant audience in India.
The 3-day travel trade show has been joined by 150+ exhibitors from 10 countries and 18 states and union territories this year. Over 1000 trade visitors have pre-registered for TTF Chennai. Over 10,000 trade visitors and end consumers are expected to walk-in at this edition.
Nepal has joined as the Partner Country while Taiwan is the Feature Country at the show. Azerbaijan, Bhutan, China, Switzerland, Thailand and UAE will be represented through key private players at the show.
The domestic tourism sector continues to extend strong support to TTF as the most effective and countrywide platform for marketing and promotion of travel and tourism. Host state Tamil Nadu is being joined by Odisha, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala as the Partner States and Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Goa as the Feature States. Other states being represented at the show include Assam, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.
India Tourism has a prominent presence at TTF Chennai. MakeMyTrip has come on board as the Holiday Partner of the event.
Day one i.e. Friday, 24 January till 2 pm, the entry is reserved for travel trade visitors only. Post 2 pm on Friday and the whole day of Saturday, 25 January and Sunday, 26 January, the show will remain open for all.
TTF Chennai provides a platform for the travel trade from the Chennai city and the state of Tamil Nadu as a whole, to network and do business with national and international travel and tourism organisations. It also facilitates an opportunity for travel enthusiasts and holidayers to check out the best destination options and deals in tour packages, hotels etc., and book on-the-spot for their next holiday.
TTF Chennai is supported by travel industry bodies like Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI), Event & Entertainment Management Association (EEMA), Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI), South India Global Tour Operators Association (SIGTOA), Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI), Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), Indian Association of Tour Operators’ (IATO), IATA Agents Association of India (IAAI), SKAL International and Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA).
Post TTF Chennai, TTF Bengaluru is scheduled from February 7-9.
