Chief Education Officer Bandipora visits Various Schools

BANDIPORA : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmad, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Bandipora, Abdul Rab Shad today visited different schools of Zone Quilmuqam and Hajin of the district.

The visit was aimed to supervise, monitor and enhance teaching learning processes in the educational institutions of the district.

The CEO visited N.M BHSS Bandipora and GMS Watrina of Zone Quilmuqam and High School S.K Bala of Zone Hajin. He took extensive stock of the facilities/ Infrastructure available in the schools including Buildings, Sports, ICT Labs, Furniture, Washrooms, Drinking Water, Electricity, Library etc. He also reviewed academic activities of the schools.

The CEO made emphasis on using the available resources in the schools and also making Student-Teacher Relationships better. He stressed on the play-way method of learning in classes. He said, appropriate Teaching Aids and Natural examples shall be used to make students understand a definite topic. He also appreciated the use of ICT Labs effectively.

During the visit the CEO also interacted with the students in the class to check the reading, writing and communication skills of the students.
