Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated Agriculture College building, newly-built polytechnic building, government English medium school building
Raipur: Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, during his Koriya district tour today, unveiled various development works worth nearly Rs 212 crore in the programme organized at Agriculture College Chervapara, near District Headquarters Baikunthpur. Mr. Baghel inaugurated 80 works worth Rs 68 crore 21 lakh and did bhumipujan of 130 works worth Rs 114 crore 13 lakh.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, Agriculture Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, Urban Administration Minister and in-charge Minister of Koriya district Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria and Minister of Tribal Development and School Education Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, Food Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Bharatpur-Sonhat MLA Shri Gulab Kamro, Baikunthpur MLA Smt. Ambika Singhdev, Manendragarh MLA Shri Vinay Jaiswal, Mayor of Chirmiri, Mrs. Kanchan Jaiswal were also present.
In the programme held at Chevrapara today, Chief Minister inaugurated 80 works worth Rs 68 crore 21 lakh, which includes the new polytechnic building constructed in Baikunthpur at a cost of about Rs 9 crore, the Government English medium school building in Chirmiri at a cost of Rs 4 crore 55 lakh , 44 buildings built in Baikunthpur for officers and employees at a cost of about Rs 5 crore 9 lakh, 44 buildings built in Manendragarh at a cost of Rs 5 crore 9 lakhs, newly-built Agricultural College building in Cheruvapara worth Rs 4 crore 16 lakhs, 2 boys hostel building constructed at a cost of 3 crore 32 lakhs. Mr. Baghel also inaugurated 10 works of solar pumps, solar high mast light installation for irrigation and drinking water arrangements by CREDA, completed at the cost of Rs 24 crores 96 lakh. This includes installation of 718 solar pumps under Saur Sujala Yojana at the cost of 14 crore 53 lakh rupees in Bharatpur-Sonhat, installation of 53 Solar Dual Pumps for drinking water arrangement in Bharatpur Sonhat at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 31 lakh, 81 solar high mast lights installation in Bharatpur-Sonhat at a cost of Rs. 3 crore 45 lakh, installation of 3 iron purification plants for drinking water system at Bharatpur-Sonhat at a cost of Rs 18 lakhs, installation of 118 solar pumps under Solar Sujala scheme at Manendragarh at a cost of Rs 2 crore 24 lakhs, Installation of 134 solar pumps in Baikunthpur area at a cost of Rs. 89 lakh and establishment of power sub center with capacity 33/11 KV built at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 57 lakh in Bahrasi of Bharatpur-Sonhat area.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel performed bhumipujan of the following works at the program- high-level bridge and approach road on the Deodad-Pendri via Mangora road at a cost of Rs 18 crore 19 lakh and 15 roads constructed at a cost of Rs 107 crore 72 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, which includes Baikunthpur-Junapara-Kudeli via Amapara, Charparas, Sattipara Road, Pipariya Road-Nagpur Railway Station-Siriyakhoh-Chiraipani Road, costing Rs 14 crore 9 lakh, Rs 12 crore 24 lakh to be built at a cost of Rs 15 crore 7 lakh. Pendri-Mahai Via Lohari road worth Rs. 11 crore 52 lakh, Khada-N.H. Ranai Via Amhar-Chirguda-Tendua Road, Kothari-Paradol Railway Station Via Parasagarhi Road, worth Rs 11 crore 30 lakhs. Chief Minister also performed bhumipujan of the virology lab to be built in Baikunthpur at the cost of Rs. 2 crore 50 lakhs.
