China University of Geosciences: CUG Members Bag 1 Golden Medal and 2 Silver Medals in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

In the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, 8 CUG members were in the Chinese delegation. WANG Yilv, master’s student (2018) from the School of Sports Science and Physical Education, won the gold medal in the mixed doubles of badminton; HUANG Yaqiong and ZHENG Siwei, alumna (2015) and alumnus (2017) from the School of Public Administration, won the silver medal in the mixed doubles of badminton; YAN Zibei, master’s student (2018) from the School of Sports Science and Physical Education, won the silver medal in the mixed 4×100 medley relay.
