Chandigarh: Chitkara University today announced its new collaboration with Red Hat Academy to offer open source certification programs to engineering students. In association with Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source, enterprise IT solutions, Chitkara University is gearing up to offer certification programs in Cloud, Linux, Middleware, Storage and Virtualization technologies.
Red Hat Academy is an open source, web-deployed and web-managed education program that is designed to provide turnkey curriculum materials to Chitkara University to start and sustain an open source and Linux curriculum program. The Red Hat® Academy curriculum involves hands-on instruction across platform, middleware, and cloud technologies. Rather than learning theoretical skills, students learn practical skills based on use cases from thousands of enterprise implementations.
