CIMP BIIF Incubatee Startup ‘Digital Labour Chowk’ won the National Innovation challenge

New Delhi: CIMP BIIF’s incubatee Startup ‘Digital Labour Chowk’ (DLC) has recently won the National Innovation Challenge under ‘Banking the Unbanked/Reaching the Unreached’ category powered by Hitachi India and organized by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM). Out of the top 19 startups that had been shortlisted under the category from PAN India applications, DLC was selected as the Winner.

On this occasion, DLC Founder Chandrashekhar Mandal received the award from Mr. Kingshuk Banerjee, Hitachi India R&D head, and KSUM and the Hitachi India’s management team shared the stage.

DLC is a virtual labour chowk that facilities and connect daily wages workers to the
customers. DLC platform facilities customers to book any number of service based daily wages
workers i.e. construction labour, mason, painter, carpenter, electrician, and plumber.

DLC founder Mr. Chandrasekhar Mandal, who is a resident of Ami village in Darbhanga district, has many other achievements under his belt. His startup DLC won the ‘Social innovation Lab Challenge’ powered by Citi Bank, IIT-K & T-Hub. It has also won the “AWS Start-up Ramp India Challenge”. It even got selected in ‘Chunauti 3.0’ powered by NGIS and STPI and ‘Google cloud Startup program’. It also got selected in ‘Salesforce Startup Program’.
