CL Educate empaneled in TEQIP-III as a national service provider for employability-skills enhancement of Engineering students

New Delhi: CL Educate Ltd has been empaneled as a service provider for improving employability skills of engineering students in Technical Education Quality Improvement Project-III (TEQIP-III) institutions.

Under the aegis of TEQIP-III, the Government of India and the World Bank have signed a US$ 201.50 million (approx. INR 1300 Crore) credit agreement to enhance the quality and equity of engineering education in several focus states of India.

TEQIP-III will initially support an estimated 200 engineering institutes across the country to nurture engineers of higher quality and employability. Some of the engineering colleges covered under TEQIP-III include NITs in Agartala, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Srinagar, among others. Additionally, IIITs in Guwahati and Manipur, and engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, etc., fall under the purview of TEQIP-III.

The project also emphasizes strengthening engineering education in India’s low-income states. It is estimated that, by project closing, roughly 3 million undergraduate and postgraduate students (of which 30% will likely be female, and 20% from scheduled castes and tribes) and over 100,000 faculty and staff members would be benefitted.

CL Educate Ltd has been empaneled to impart pre-test, module-wise test, and post-test course work. The course work shall include Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Aptitude, along with résumé writing and developing communication skills to make graduating students industry ready.
