Clever Harvey collaborates with AWS Activate, Digital Ocean Hatch & Wix to launch its second startup incubation program for high school students
New Delhi: After the success of Winter Incubation 2021-22 for teen startups, Clever Harvey has announced the launch of its Summer Incubation Program to encourage high school students to begin their entrepreneurial journey from an early age.
Under the program, Clever Harvey will enroll 20 teams to receive one-on-one mentorship and assistance from industry experts. The mentors include Puneet Acharya, Founder & CEO Onyomark & Pluto Office Head of Technology Business Incubator, BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Prashant Kumar, and Partha Chakraborty, Founder of Tactyq, an enterprise for aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage founders.
This year, the company has partnered with three other platforms – DigitalOcean, Wix, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) – to further help teenagers proliferate their businesses. DigitalOcean is the world’s fastest-growing cloud platform for developers and teams. Its global startup program Hatch will offer a $1000 one-year credit and other benefits to eligible startups enrolled in Clever Harvey’s incubation program.
AWS Activate is a platform designed to provide startups with low-cost, easy-to-use cloud computing resources needed to scale businesses. Therefore, the $1000 credit with a validity of up to two years and technical support worth up to $350, among other assistance, will aid the students to grow their enterprises from just an idea.
As a startup selected for the Clever Harvey Incubation Program, the students will also get a free one year-subscription to website builder Wix and its premium offerings. With over 500 customized website templates to choose from, teenagers will be able to start their website with zero/minimal costs.
Speaking about the second edition of its incubation program, Sriram Subramanian, Co-Founder & CEO of Clever Harvey, said, “We have been committed to guiding teenagers through the struggles of entrepreneurship and how to overcome them. The application process for the Summer Incubation Program is on and is open till May 15, 2022. As a part of the three-month program, students between the ages of 14 and 18 can apply for free, and 20 startups will be eligible to join the program. Out of the 20, five startups will win the program, scoring themselves a seed funding of Rs.25000 each.
