Client Counseling Competition held

 

ALIGARH  : The Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University organized a two-day Client Counseling Competition 2024 with 27 teams of students participating in the event.

In his inaugural address, Prof. M.Z.M. Nomani, Dean, Faculty of Law said that the ‘Client Counseling Competition’ is an integral part of Clinical Legal Education of Bar Council of India which aims at inculcating the lawyer skill in students, along with the law office and solicitors firm management.

Mr Zakiuddin Khairoowala, Teacher-Practitioner said that the unique event witnessed great enthusiasm among students belonging to various specialties, including criminal law and tort, contract law, family law, intellectual property law, environmental law and international law.

Ms Huzaifa Aslam, Secretary, Mediation and Dispute Resolutions Society, highlighted the ‘client problem prepared by students having complexities of litigation to focus lawyering skills.’

Dr Tabassum Choudhary proposed the vote of thanks.
