Cloth bags campaign held at AMU
ALIGARH : The Centre for Skill Development and Career Planning, Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University organized a cloth bag campaign under the theme, “Say No to Plastic, Save Environment”.
The programme aimed at creating awareness among people to shun plastic bags and promote the use of cloth bags to help conserve the environment, a project undertaken under the Mission LiFE by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
On this occasion, cloth bags stitched by trainees of Garment Making course under the supervision of Garment Making Trainer Ms. Adiba Saleem were made available for sale on nominal price.
