Raipur: Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has written letter to Chief Ministers of various states of the country and offered them the online education portal ‘Padhai Tuhar duaar’ launched in Chhattisgarh for the use of students and teachers in their states. Mr. Baghel wrote the letter to Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Hariyana, Goa, West Bengal, Assam, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Odisha and Punjab.
Mr. Baghel wrote in his letter that nation-wide lock down for last three weeks has been extended in India till May 3. As schools and colleges are closed during lockdown, online education is the only option for continuing with the children education. I am glad to inform that Chhattisgarh has developed a complete e-learning portal to provide free online education at cgschool.in. We have named it in Chhattisgarhi dialect Padhai Tuhar Dwar which means education at your doorstep.
This portal has brought classroom experience online, where students get all the facilities to study and learn online. Video lecture series of all the classes and subjects are available on the portal, which students may access at their own time and space. Audio and PDF study material is also available for betterment of the curriculum. .Children may ask their queries and doubts online, which will be answered by the teachers. Homework questions are also available online, which can be solved at home and sent online for evaluation by teachers. Online interactive classes are also being held. This portal was started for School Education on April 7, and within one week 65 lakh page views and registration of 6.50 lakh students and more than 1.26 lakh teachers have been recorded. The numbers are constantly increasing. Recently we have opened this portal for college education as well. Best part about the portal is that it charges no fee for study material or registration. And anyone, especially people of hindi-speaking states can take advantage of the study material. I have received information that all the states are making efforts in the direction of online education. I offer this portal of Chhattisgarh for students and teachers of yourstate.
Mr. Baghel said that the knowledge sharing by teachers of all hindi-speaking states on one portal will turn it into a huge treasure chest of knowledge for students. You can also get this portal customized as per the requirements of your state. Students of all the states can start using this portal right away. Government officials of Chhattisgarh can provide demo of this portal too. Mr. Baghel requested Chief Ministers to ask their officials to contact School Education Department of Chhattisgarh. I believe that this portal will turn out to be a boon for all the students, said Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
