CM Chouhan to distribute scholarship to Ladli Laxmis

Bhopal : Innovations are constantly being made with the objective of empowering girls in the state, making them aware of their rights and providing them equal opportunities. In this series, “Pankh Abhiyan” is being launched on January 24, to connect the girl child with safety, awareness, information, health and hygiene.

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch this campaign on January 24 at 12 noon in Minto Hall. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will also dedicate 501 Anganwadi centres and 12 one stop centres in the state level programme. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will also transfer amount to beneficiaries of Matru Vandana Yojana and scholarships to the girl child under Ladli Laxmi Yojana. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will also interact with two girls of Shaurya Dal, one woman from One Stop Centre and one administrator and two Ladli Laxmis through live telecast.

More than 25 lakh people from Anganwadi centres, Project Office, District Office, One Stop Centre, Swadhar Griha, Vasati Griha, Girls Hostel, government and non government organizations related to Integrated Child Protection Scheme will take part in the National Girl Child Day through weblink/Akashvani and Doordarshan. The programme will be broadcast through the link https://webcast.gov.in/mp/cmevents/. On this occasion, a Balika Bhoj will also be organized in the Anganwadi centres.
