CM Kamal Nath dedicates beautification work of Gandhi Ji’s Sabha Sthal in Chhindwara
Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath said that keeping in view the present scenario in the World, the concept of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ can be realized by the thoughts of Gandhiji. The connection of young generation with ‘Jai Jagat Yatra’ reflects that it is need of the time to spread the message of Gandhi Ji not in the country only but in entire world. He mentioned that a unique example is being set by the foreigners participating in the Jai Jagat Yatra. Their participation in the yatra will set an example for the new generation. Under the Gandhi Pravas Shatabdi Subharambh Samaroh, Shri Kamal Nath was addressing the programme organized to dedicate the beautification work of the first Nagar Sabha Sthal of Gandhi Ji in Chhindwara.
Shri Kamal Nath said that during his Africa visit he met the President of a country. The statue of Gandhiji in his chamber was exhibiting that Gandhiji was considered as ideal not in the country only but in entire world. Shri Kamal Nath said that the arrival of Jai Jagat Yatra in Chhindwara is a matter of pride for this city of Indian culture. The message of Gandhiji is more relevant to youth in present time. The Chief Minister appreciated Shri Rajgopal, who is leading the Yatra and his fellow Gandhian Thinkers.
The Renowned Gandhian Thinker Shri Rajgopal said that yatra is getting cooperation from everyone to reach its peak. The yatra is moving ahead successfully with the love and affection of children, women, youth and elders. He further mentioned that Chhindwara district could become a better model in the state for assimilating the ideals of truth and non-violence. Along with water tourism, Madhya Pradesh seems to be an appropriate state for peace tourism. Shri Rajgopal said that this concept can be realized under the leadership of the Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath.
The members of the yatra while informing about the objectives of the yatra said that the Jai Jagat Yatra was commenced from the Samadhi of Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat, Delhi on October 02, 2019. After the prayer at Rajghat and taking the pious soil in Kalash in the form of Ashirwad, the members along with 50 foreign padyatris of 15 other countries will culminate 365 days padyatra at Seva Gram of Vardha on January 30, after traversing through different states of the country and 10 other countries.
This yatra will reach Geneva, Switzerland on October 2, 2020. On the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi, this yatra along with non-violence and justice will hold dialogues with United Nations on four issues like poverty alleviation, climate change, removal of inequality and war free world in October 2020.
The Member of Parliament Shri Nakul Nath, Minister in-charge Shri Sukhdev Panse and Former Minister Shri Deepak Saxena paid floral tribute at the statue of Gandhiji. The local artists recited Gandhiji’s beloved Bhajans during Bhajan Sandhya.
MLAs Sarvshri Sunil Uikey, Vijay Choure, Nilesh Uikey, Sohanlal Valmiki and Sujeet Singh Choudhary, Former President of State Advocates’ Association Shri Ganga Prasad Tiwari and Former District Panchayat President Shri Vishwanath Okte, other Public Representatives, Deputy Secretary to CM Shri Anurag Saxena, OSD to CM Shri Sanjay Shrivastava and a large number of prominent citizens were present at the programme.
The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath also attended the Bhajan Sandhya organised by the local artists. The members of Jai Jagat Yatra set out under the leadership of Eminent Gandhian Thinker Shri P. V. Rajgopal to spread the message of Gandhiji in the entire world were especially present on this occasion.
