CM Kamal Nath’s address at Captain of Industries Award Function

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath urged people connected with industry and trade along with other commercial activities to benefit government with their field experiences so that the state could climb the new heights of development. Shri Kamal Nath was addressing the Captain of Industries Award Function at Minto Hall today.

The Chief Minister said that there is no dearth of talent in various fields in our state; the need is how we support and encourage them. He said that the government has comparatively low field experience in industry and trade. Therefore, it is essential for the people of this field to share their experience with the State Government for the benefit of the state.

The Chief Minister said that constant changes are taking place in every field, people’s aspirations and expectations are also increasing. By adopting changes with time, we have to provide facilities as per the expectations of the people in every field. Shri Kamal Nath further said that situation was different in various fields including Education, IT and Medicine five years ago. Earlier, the Institute was required to impart education, but today online education facility is available from a university like Harvard.

Shri Kamal Nath said that Madhya Pradesh has huge potential but our state is counted among the backward states of the country. We have to create a new identity to get rid of this identity. We are trying that our state should be compared with the leading states. A new profile of the state should be made, which become a centre of attraction for not the country only but at the international level. The Chief Minister mentioned that with a new vision and practical approach, we can change the profile of the state with the cooperation of government and people.

The Chief Minister said that it is a must to enhance economic activities because it brings improvement in our economy, enhances people’s purchasing power and increases trade and business. Along with the service sector, Shri Kamal Nath emphasized the need for focusing special attention on tourism too.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister honoured Homeopath Dr. A.K. Diwedi, Dr. Arpit Morden, Shri Chanchal Soni, Shri Manmohan Kant Samadhiya, Shri Naharu Khan, Shri Nishant Vatsa, Dr. Pramod P. Nima, Shri Pravven Daryani, Shri Ramesh Agarwal, Shri Ramanveer Singh Arora, Dr. Satinder Kaur Saluja, Shri Siddhant Joshi Shri Sudhir Kumar Agarwal and Dr. Ramesh Chhawri with Captain of Industries Award for their excellent contributions in medical, education and construction sector. Shri Kamal Nath released Coffee Table Book Man of Mettle.

The In-Charge of Dainik Jagran Delhi and Nai Duniya Group Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Shri Devesh Gupta was present on the occasion.
