CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan extends his greetings at the inauguration of Khajuraho Dance Festival

Bhopal : The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended his greetings and felicitations to all on the occasion of the inauguration of the world famous Khajuraho Dance Festival. He has also wholeheartedly welcomed the artists who are going to perform in the festival. The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that khajuraho dance festival is not just an event but it is also worship and spiritual practice and adoration.

The Chief Minister Chouhan has said that this time’s dance ceremony will be special. This prestigious dance festival was started in the Khajuraho temple premises in the year 1975. In the early years, it was held within the premises, but later on for archaeological reasons, it was held outside the premises. On receipt of permission of the archaeological department, it is being held in the temple premises from this year.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this year is the 47th year of Khajuraho Dance Festival. It will be given more grandeur on completion of 50 years of the event.
