CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan to inaugurate Jal-Mahotsav Hanuvantiya

 

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the state’s prestigious Jal-Mahotsav (Tritiya) at 5 pm on Sunday October 15 at Hanuvantiya. The Chief Minister will present the awards to the winners of M.P. Tourism Awards on the occasion. This time the Jal-Mahotsav will begin on October 15 and continue till January 2, 2018.

MP and Bharatiya Janata Party State President Shri Nandkumar Singh Chouhan will preside over. The inaugural ceremony will be organized in the presence of special guests including Energy Minister and Minister in charge Shri Paras Chandra Jain, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism and Culture Shri Surendra Patwa, State Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Shri Tapan Bhoumik and Regional MLA Shri Lokendra Singh Tomar.

The main attraction of Jal Mahotsav would be scuba diving and boat race. A cultural evening would also be organized on the occasion. Various facilities are being made available in water sports complex Hanuvantiya for tourists.

Swiss tents have been put up for the tourists at the Jal Mahotsav. An exhibition focused on Narmada river besides food zone, craft bazaar would be organized. All arrangements for security at the Boat Club are being made.

It may be noted that the tourists will be able to enjoy in the second Jal-Mahotsav this time on various festivals, weekends, year-ends and winter vacations in December amidst natural beauty and water. Apart from celebrating year-end holidays with their families, the tourists would be able to welcome New Year-2018 also.

Hanuvantiya is in reality a silent and tension-free world away from the daily race for time and busy routine where the clean atmosphere and water inspires one for adventurous activities. Jal-Mahotsav will include water sports activities besides adventurous games.
