CME on Neuroradiology organised by JNMC, Aligarh Muslim University

Aligarh: From diagnosis and characterization of abnormalities of central and peripheral nervous system to the use of neuroimaging techniques, Dr Dinesh Sharma, a renowned neuroradiologist from the Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, USA explained all concepts in neuroradiology to the participants of the ongoing online Continuing Medical Education (CME) on ‘Neuroradiology’ organised by the Department of Radiodiagnosis, J N Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

He delivered the first lecture on September 5. The remaining weekly lectures are scheduled on September 24, October 1, October 8 and October 15.

“The CME is centred on the key aspects in neuroradiology related to abnormalities of the brain, spine, head and neck in which Dr Dinesh is explaining how to interpret x-rays, magnetic resonance images, and computed tomography scans and how to perform angiographic studies of the brain and spine among other topics,” said Prof Ibne Ahmad, Chairman, Department of Radiodiagnosis.

Coordinators of the programme, Dr S M Danish Qaseem and Dr Mehtab Ahmad added that the CME also includes ‘hourly talk’ sessions and case study discussions for the junior and senior residents of the department.
