CMR University felicitated with 3 awards by Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka at the 5th Summit on Education organized by CEGR
Bengaluru : CMR University, one of the top-ranked universities in Bengaluru, was accorded 3 awards at the 5th Summit on Education: ‘What India Needs?’ organized by the Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR). Honorable Governor of Karnataka, Thaawar Chand Gehlot was the Chief Guest at the event. The awards bestowed upon CMR University were on the dimensions of ‘Best Private University in South India for Research’, ‘Best Private University in South India for Placement’, and ‘Exemplary Academic Leader of the Year 2022.’
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of the Asian Academy of Film and Television, and National President of CEGR addressed the gathering saying “The demographic dividend we have in India will soon be recognized as the biggest strength in terms of talent flow and educational enhancements”.
Pro-Chancellor Shri. K.R. Jayadeep was honored with the award ‘Best Private University in South India for Research – 2022’ while Professor Dr. S. Mohan Kumar was honored with the award ‘Exemplary Academic Leader of the Year 2022’ by the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, while Mr. Rajkumar Chakraborty received the award for ‘Best Private University in South India for Placement – 2022’ from the Chief Guest of the session of the 19th Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar Ceremony 2022.
The event saw various doyens of the education spectrum enlightening the crowd about the future of education in India and what the most pressing issues are that need to be addressed immediately and intelligently. The avant-garde education, skill and research facilities, along with innovative Design Thinking practices employed by CMR University ensured the deservingness of the accolades.
