Coaching Program for Border Youth commences in district Samba
SAMBA : Sunrise Brigade of Tiger Division in collaboration with District Administration Samba today commenced a three week long Coaching programme for preparing the local youth for entrance exam for admission to RIMC, Sainik School & other Military Schools, here today.
The inaugural function was organized at Army Public School Badi, Bari Brahmana.
Deputy Commissioner Samba, Anuradha Gupta, in presence of Brigadier Anil Kakade, SM, Commander 92 Infantry Brigade, inaugurated the month-long coaching progamm for Border youth.
The Chief Guest, Deputy Commissioner, on the occasion, congratulated the organizing team of Indian Army for taking up this novel initiative for betterment of young minds of the district, She also underlined the importance of proper guidance and coaching for qualifying competitive exam especially for enrolling in premium institutes like RMIC.
“District Samba is known hitherto as Land of Warriors and with regular focused coaching programmes for the youth of the district admission in premium military institutes will become much easier for them” added the DC Samba.
It was informed that 50 aspirants from border village Nandpur and Ala of district Samba have enrolled for the capsule.
A team of teachers having vast experience in teaching Maths, English, General Knowledge, Science & Logical reasoning will impart coaching to the aspirants from Nov 23 to Dec 16, 2021. The aspirants were also provided with Stationary kit, Coaching books, Question banks, Sample papers and other study material free of cost which will enable them to be better prepared for clearing the entrance exam.
During the programme Colonel Akshay Dogra, Commanding Officer 17 GARH RIF, District Information Officer, Samba Ajay Sharma besides Army school teachers and parents of students were also present.
