Coding Ninjas announces winners of Code Kaze; IIT student bags first position

New Delhi: India’s premier Edu-tech platform-Coding Ninjas announces the winners of the fifth edition of Code Kaze. Started on 27 Feb 2020, the online coding event witnessed the participation of 30,000+ students from different parts of the country including students and professionals from institutions like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, DTU, NIT Trichy and many more. The winners and participants of the event were awarded with cash prizes and goodies worth INR 50lakhs.

The first four winners of the Online Coding Event-Code Kaze are Rahul Dugar, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee; Rahul Goswami, National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand; Ankur Dua, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad and Nandini Dutta, Lovely Professional University (LPU). The winners got away with the cash prize of INR 70,000 in consolidation. The winners were shortlisted with the help of company’s in-house software that evaluates the overall time taken to attempt each question, applied methodology for every question and the overall scoring. The winners have ceaselessly participated in online coding events hosted by Coding Ninjas in the past but have been able to secure top ranks only during this event.

Sharing thoughts on the occasion Mr. Ankush Singla, Co-Founder, Coding Ninjas said, “We are enthralled to have huge participation from pan India. Our platform registered 30,000+ students and professionals with 4,000 students qualifying for the finale with 80% test submissions. We have witnessed a huge success for the fifth edition of the event with 250% of increment in participants from previous edition. We are expecting to have more participants on board for our next edition and endeavor to make it even bigger. Code Kaze has not concluded but will come back with its signature preparatory hackathons to up-skill more students for the next edition in 2021.”

Coding Ninjas has been actively involved in hosting a series of foundation and advanced level online coding competitions to develop programming practices among the youth and the significance of these competitions both academically and professionally. These competitions highlight the importance of tech education from grassroots to advanced level and elevate the standards of tech education in the Indian market.

Code Kaze featured a set of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) based on data structure, algorithms and aptitude to test your problem-solving abilities. The competition had more than 2000+ colleges and universities participating to spread awareness and ultimately develop an ecosystem of Coding among their students.
