Collector must ensure examination of people coming from outside on Raksha Bandhan: Madhya Pradesh CM

Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that proper arrangements of food, water and cleanliness should be ensured at the quarantine centres, so that the people admitted here do not get a chance to complain. He said that all district collectors should ensure proper arrangement of screening of people coming from outside on Raksha Bandhan. He said that vigilance should be maintained in the state, so that no lockdown situation can be created in any district. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements of Corona through video conferencing from Chirayu Hospital on Sunday.

During the review of Jabalpur and Rajgarh district, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that precautions such as wearing masks, sanitization and physical distancing for prevention from Corona should be strictly followed. He instructed to maintain special vigilance in hospitals. In the meeting it was informed that patients with serious ailments have also recovered from Corona in Jabalpur. Among them is Nusrat Parveen who recovered after being on ventilator for 10 days. Similarly, Balram Jaswani suffering from cancer and Shri Revaram suffering from heart disease also defeated Corona.

Rapid Antigen Test started

It was informed in the video conference that the process of Rapid Antigen Test of Corona has started in the state. As many 507 tests were conducted in the state on July 31 and 1021 on August one. This will enable quick identification of Corona affected persons.

Special attention must be paid to contact history and sampling

Instructions were also given to all districts to increase sampling of Corona test and identify contact history of the Corona affected persons and strengthen the system of checking the persons who come in contact. Information was also taken by the Crisis Management Group of all districts to review the latest status of Corona infection and to ensure management accordingly.

Ambulance system

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that it is necessary to monitor the time that an ambulance takes to reach the patient. Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman informed that there is adequate arrangement of ambulances in all the districts and funds were also provided to the collectors for arranging additional ambulances when needed. In the same sequence, information was given that adequate number of other machines needed for treatment including ventilators is available in the state.

During the meeting, Medical Education Minister Shri Vishwas Sarang informed that the system of managing Corona patients is being made more effective in Hamidia Hospital. The system of corona treatment has also started in L.N. Medical College, J.K. Medical College and People’s Medical College of Bhopal.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan sought information of the work being done for the control and treatment of Corona in the districts of Gwalior, Shivpuri, Morena, Neemuch, Barwani, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Raisen, Rewa, Sehore, Betul, Hoshangabad, Narsinghpur, Mandla, Dindori etc. through video conference. Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Prabhuram Chaudhary, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains and other officers also took part in the video conference.
