College Festival ‘ResoFEST’ by Resonance, Hyderabad, re-energises students to take-on challenges ahead!
Hyderabad : Resonance – Hyderabad Centre, experts in JEE, both Mains & Advanced & other Engineering, Medical, Commerce, Law entrance examinations; hosted their College Festival, ‘ResoFEST’, at Gachibowli Stadium, today. Chief Guests Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Former Vice President of India and Shri Kanneganti Brahmanandam, Popular Tollywood Actor and Comedian and Purnachandra Rao N., Director, Resonance – Hyderabad; graced the occasion. Over 5000 students from different campuses of Resonance in the city, attended this largest junior college fest in the twin cities. Iconic personalities including Indian Actress Ms Kajal Agarwal; Mrs Uma Devi Chigurupati, Executive Director, Granules India Ltd.; Shri Srinivasa Rao Mahankali, CEO, T-Hub and Dr Gayatri Devi Kamineni, COO, Kamineni Hospitals; among others addressed and inspired the students, on the occasion.
Students, taking a break from their intense academic schedule ahead of the exams, presented a colorful cultural extravaganza. It raised the tempo to the hilt and built a high-octane carnival mood. The student performers availed the occasion to showcase their innate talent and regale the audience. The talent exhibited was a revelation for their fellow students and won immense admiration and unending ovation. The bonhomie ResoFEST generated will lead to lasting bonding among student for their lifetime. Meritorious students were recognized and felicitated on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Shri Venkaiah Naidu said, happy to interact with you and be part of the enthusiasm you are exhibiting. I also congratulate the students who secured seats in some prestigious IITs. It’s my privilege to unveil the new campus of Resonance in Hyderabad. It’s heartening that since inception Resonance has trained over ten lakh students for highly competitive exams. In the past five years Shri R K Verma, Managing Director, Resonance Eduventures and Shri Purnachandra Rao Narra, Director, Resonance, Hyderabad; took Resonance to new heights in the plus two education coaching. We should always be grateful to our parents, teachers and the mother land, we should give back to our village and native place. Off late children are getting addicted to electronic gadgets, I would like to caution you to use it to the extent needed, excess usage will impact our personality, we lose ability to think and be creative and become dependent on Google for everything. As children one should imbibe traits of discipline, time sense and being fluent in the mother tongue and later learn other languages. Acquire more and more knowledge, education is not for a degree, but for enhancement of worldly knowledge. The knowledge, the wisdom you acquire brightens your fate. Learn, earn and return to your motherland and help your neighbours. Care and share is the core Indian philosophy, which believes in Vasudevika Kutumbhikam. Have a healthy exercise regimen, adopt yoga, have the nutritious Indian food, the fast foods are an invitation to diseases. Hope you all join in the forward movement of the nation, nation being first, self being last should be our gaol.
ResoFEST provides the much needed respite to students from the monotony of daily studies, besides enabling them to exhibit their hidden talent to their friends. The festival was an opportunity for students to re-energise and get back to their studies with greater vigour as they prepare for the most crucial test of their lives. This was also an opportunity to felicitate the students with outstanding academic performance, says Purnachandra Rao N., Director, Resonance – Hyderabad.
Shri Kanneganti Brahmanandam, Popular Tollywood Actor and Comedian; said, education is essential to grow our wisdom and fulfil our aspirations, it is also important to develop our character. God will give you a chance and not choice, we should grab that chance and reach the heights we aspire to.
Purnachandra Rao N added, We conducted competitions in all our college branches and are hosting the grand finale with all the winners here today. We will be presenting awards to winners in sports and co-circular activities. Also on this occasion we recognise and felicitate the students from our institution, who got admissions in the prestigious IITs, NITs and Medical colleges. We do the ResoFEST every year and this is the third edition.
The day long festivities from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm had cultural performan ces by students of resonance, interspersed with inspiring talks and interaction with iconic dignitaries including Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Former Vice President of India; Shri Kanneganti Brahmanandam, Popular Tollywood Actor and Comedian; Actress Ms Kajal Agarwal; Mrs Uma Devi Chigurupati, Executive Director, Granules India Ltd.; Shri Srinivasa Rao Mahankali, CEO, T-Hub; Dr Gayatri Devi Kamineni, COO, Kamineni Hospitals; Shri R K Verma, Managing Director, Resonance Eduventures, among others. Awards were presented to the toppers of IIT, NIT, IIIT and Medical Colleges and top performers of the Cultural and Sports competition held as part of ResoFEST.
