Columbia University: Nadia Eke Joins the Ranks of Columbian Flag Bearers, Representing Ghana at Tokyo Opening Ceremony

The triple jump champ will be flag bearer for her home country of Ghana at the 2020 Olympics.

African triple jump champion and entrepreneur Nadia Eke (CC’15) will be Ghana’s flag bearer during the opening ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in Japan.

The two-time All American and Ivy League NCAA Woman of the Year is also co-founder of Axxelerate, a company that seeks to help athletes develop their aspirations beyond their sport.

Two-time Olympian and Columbia Hall of Famer Erison Hurtault (CC’07) carried the Dominica flag at the London Olympics in 2012.
